Default Modified my ML sights for 08

I finally installed a peep site! I still need to check the sights with the target aperature I have, once that's done I will swap it out with a much larger hunting aperature.

Sorry, no scope!

Yes it is chuck. I installed a Mossberb S331 rear peep site that I picked up at a gun show 8-10 years ago. I had to tap and drill two 10-32 holes at the back end of the bolt area and remove a small portion of the stock. The sight window is very much improved now, I can't wait to go try it out, it should greatly improve the accuracy of my ML.

Peeps are cool! I've thought of installing one on my '94 Win.

You'll have to take that out and shoot it and let us know how it turns out!!

Hopefully the new peep site will shrink the 3" group I had at 100 yards down just a little bit.

Shorty,
The peep looks great. Please let us know how this turns out. I would like to go mzl hunting for elk in Co within the next few years and open sights don't work well for me. I use a single power in NE and that does work fine. 3" pattern at 100 yds is pretty darn good w/open sights.
Thanks
chuck

fishnguy, keep in mind that the 3" group comes from shooting from a bench rest at one of Ikes sight in days. What happens in the field during a hunt is usually much different.
