Default A Good Day! -- Now with food pics!

Had a friend ask me to hunt today at a honey hole that was unbelievable.

Great (and cold) way to spend a Saturday.

Default Tail???

Do you keep the feathers??? Any chance you could donate the tails for fly tying?

Nice looking parrots! Great job, start 'em young!!!

Speaking of which Scott. I have a ton of Pheasant feathers from this season I am bringing that you all can dig through.

Yeah, I was wondering how she would do out there (the 16 gauge is longer tan she is tall), but she swung on that rooster and dropped him like a bad habit.

Taught her to shoot right after I finished teaching the dog to point only roosters.

Scott --
I don't keep the feathers. I would happily give these to you, but the remains are already in the garbage.

Sounds cool to have a fly/lure made of the feathers of a pheasant you shot ...

Maybe next time.

You must be taking lessons from Hawken, another kitchen photo . How do you get your wives to let you do that?
Good job on the birds.

Mmmmm, pheasant noodle soup!!

- Truthfully, I did try this last week. Added some chicken broth to the stock, but otherwise pretty much like any quality chicken noodle soup recipe your mom would make. Delicious!!
