Post my hunting spot? Uh ... nope.

Oh, wait a minute, this is more of that "the forum is bland" stuff isn't it?

Whatever.

Wow you guys are ridiculous.

No one is going to recognize a place unless they have been there. Tell me where my spot is. There is no way for you to be able to tell from the picture that i posted.

The Crab Nebula...

Best post since the rabbit with the pancake on its head, which would also be a fine addition to this thread.

If you want to post your spot, well, to each his own I guess. We'll see how many others follow suit.

Its sad how uptight a lot of you guys are on here.

I have a creative idea for members to interact in a way other than showing pics and sucking up and its too far from the norm from you all. Thanks for being a bunch of *edit* about it.

Shame on you James Watson for telling everyone where I use to hunt.Believe it or not I got my first goose (a Snow)shooting a .410 just a little west of I-80 still on the Capitol Beach Lake. That happened about 1945 or 46

Let's put it this way. I wouldn't post my spots even if I were paid to right now. My private land is shrinking each year and each year it gets tougher to hunt for us semi-public only dwellers. So if I had a particular CRP or WMA that I like to hunt, hell no am I going to post it regardless if it can or can not be recognized via the satellite image.

Stop for a minute and instead of getting huffy about your thread not going the way you envisioned; realize that during the starting peak of upland and the midst of fowlin' season, some of the "honey holes" for these members will also be under fire from other people and they probably don't have a need or desire to post the image of them to "show off" what they have for if someone does recognize their land and decides to hunt there, they may have lost out on their "honey hole".

Plus I wouldn't want to become victim to a cyber scouter.

And how does it feel to never have bagged anything at your hunting spot BB?

Man that is a very long drought you've got going on there.

These guys are uptight about guarding their spots for a reason. Too many internet scouters and folks with less than great morals to be broadcasting this kind of info.

Even guys with private spots would be out of their mind to do so because they leave thousands of dollars worth of gear unattended there all the time.

No reason to call people out when you are totally in the wrong here.

B76 can you let me know how you looked up your spot. I wanted to get a aerial view of our acreage and pond but haven't figured the whole google map thing out. ANy info would be great.

I know you were trying to do someting fun but guys are a little protective of thier spots and I knwo a bunch of basins with my eyes closed so I sure I or they could identify others pics. Yours though I have no clue but looks like a decent spot.

Like I said, if someone recognizes a spot, that is because they already know of it or have been there.

You're right. I made this thread to find out other peoples spots so I can go hunt them myself.

I just typed in the closest area or city and followed the roads to get there. I guess you just gotta look around.
