Hunted a little private spot this am. Hard time findin a spot close to the water for the layouts. 4 guys got their pintails each, a gadwall, and a smathering of teal. I totally blew the shot call on a nice flock of mallards that were just plain doin it......I think we ended up two or three short. be at em again in the am.

forgot to addd......had i not forgot the speck call.....i got a pretty good feelin we woulda had atleast one on the ground this morning

nice job watsy.

Keith told me that they could have had specks on opening day but some guys 100 yards next to them decided to shoot at a loan teal as they were coming down. GRRRRRRRRRr

the hunt was indeed fun.....but really muddy!!! cant wait to see how JW did this morning while it was working
