Default Deer fight

I had never seen this happen in person. We were at Cody park watching geese land and the other animals when I look out in the river and there are three bucks walking on a sandbar. Pretty soon 2 of them are going at it. They were really getting after it for about 15-20 seconds and then one gave up and the other just strutted around. Then they went back to just kind of walking around. Then the buck that wasn't involved went into the trees for just a second then comes running out and starts it up with the winner of the first fight. The previous winner won again and they all went down the river like nothing happened. I don't think these were all out fights but they were cool as hell to see. To make it better I had the wife and kids with me and we were all glued to the scene. Awesome Awesome sight to see.

I have seen them a couple of time not very long but it was around this time... I think it's more like an argument then a fight...

The one I shot a couple years back was seen by my buddy fighting in the am. That evening I shot him and he had a freshly broken tine. Kinda of depressing.

Back when i was a Teenager used to ride my bike and take my German Sheperd down to riverside park to do some fall fishing (riverside park is that small pond you can see off to the south when u cross into Iowa on I-80) we were always hearing them Bucks fighting down there. Dog used to love to interupt the fights.. was always afraid hed get hurt but never did.
