It wasn't a fight of any kind not yet anyway. He was just rubbing the velvet off his horns.

Nice pic. Looks like he got too close to a Black Locust. Every once in a while the tree will get even.

Now that's a cool pic. Didn't know they bled that much when rubbing velvit, unless he started too soon and it wasn't ready yet.

I would love to take credit for that trail cam pic but it wasn't mine. I thought I would pass it along to all you guys. I do think it's probably one of the coolest pics I have ever seen though.

Bring on saturday!

For eating I LOVE teal. I would say that teal are the best eaters out of all of them.

Cant beat a bacon wrapped teal with a chunk of pepper jack and a jalapeno in there. Throw some green peppers and onions on that skewer too.

Mike F. couldnt believe that we went teal hunting to shoot 4 ducks each. Then Ace said " How often do you drive and haul a boat 3 hours and dont even shoot 1 teal?"

You going bowhunting this weekend? If so good luck.

Ha! I just had to give you a hard time. Yes, teal are hard to beat on the grill no arguement there. Yeah gonna head home to try to stick the beast...

IMHO a big northern cornfed mallard is the king of all ducks not only for hunting but eating as well. Rub the breasts with lard or butter and stuff them with sour kraut, some candied yams, and collard greens on the side, thats pretty hard to beat! As far as the bacon wrapped teal go, eat the bacon and throw the teal away, just kidding teal are good too.
