How many canadian(btw, canadians are people, not geese) decoys do you own?? What kind of laydown blind do you have?? Got a spinner and a few duck floaters??

LoL i know candians are people but i call canadia geese canadians when im referring to them. Umm actually i dont have a lot of decoys at all maybe like a dozen of them if even. I do have a pop up blind that we use for ducks when i used to hunt Iowa. I grew up hunting with my dad and hes kinda strange in his hunting ways so whenever we hunted geese we always jump shot them. I do however have access to about 60-100 duck decoys and two mallard robo ducks one male one female. Like i said this will be my first year hunting Nebraska so i dont even really know where public hunting areas are here. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Alex is at it again.
Everyone was new at some point, hell when I moved back here from Iowa I posted something similar and Scott Sharp was nice enough to PM me and we hunted together and learned a lot those first couple of years. Shoot me a PM and maybe we can hook up down the road, wont be out for awhile because of moving to an acreage. I can also give you some areas you might want to try. ![]()

I just asked what kind of equipment he had available. Kinda tough to invite someone to hunt if they don't have the necessary equipment(waders, laydown blind, camo clothes,etc.,etc.).

So does he get an invite with the equipment that he has or is he missing something?
I am just jealous of you all getting to go tomorrow. Chris

The muddy Burlap bag approach worked for me and Tony last year on the late season stale Geese here. Messy but effective. The layout blinds were just too visible to them.

might have to try that burlap bag lol.
Actually me and my friend ended up going down to plattesmouth kinda exploring the area more then hunting but did manage to get a couple canadians a piece. Plus i guess the bonus to there is once the birds quit moving we fished.

Planning on using the burlap bag myself this year! Haven't purchased a layout blind yet and figured that would be the second best.
