Whos going after what? Teal or geese? Anybody plannin a combo shoot? I recieved some bad news that the field I had permission for just got replanted so I am unable to hunt that field now......But I have a pretty strong feeling we can top last years shoot of 20 birds and 11 bands runnin traffic......Things look a little SHINIER this year for some reason......
Hopefully it works out .....SO whats everyone plans? |

I'm going for the combo. Birds are using the field I'm hunting, just can't lock down what time they have been using it. Where I'm hunting geese, I'll be real lucky to see any bands.

HMMM shoot a few teal Sat am.
Then see what the pheasant population looks like conditioning myself and my GSP's. Catch the big red game at the landowner house. Then eat a large prime rib at the vfw and toss down a few adult beverages at the local watering hole. Try teal again sun and work with the dogs some more.... Scout a few Basin for later in the season

Teal for sure. Not ruling out some geese near Lincoln either.

Im boycotting teal this year. Cant justify getting up at 2am to shoot 4 of the dumbest birds on the planet.
Ill show up at sunrise and follow James around with a metal detector.

We are sticking close to home, hopefully the birds show up, might pick a band or two if they do. Will probably hit up the basins mid week that way I won't need the bodyamour.

Sat heading to the basins to swat out our teal then grill out. Then heading to Lincoln and meeting up with the MIGHTY JW. I could care less about teal but it beats staying home.......... I just cant wait till the Sunday Morning Massacre.

Going to the Platte Blind Sat. Morn bust a few Teal. I shot Geese last weekend in Minn. The Teal kept eyeballing me all weekend so I think I will take out some of there kin. Sunday I believe I will do a combo hunt.
