Prefer over water but, for me,it's tough to find areas to hunt them on water. Had a great spot on the Missouri until Iowa decided they needed to have 50feet of the river bank back. Now,all this Iowa public ground(about 200 acres total) sits with nobody using it cause it's locked in by private ground.

don't need a boat blind, just a boat big enough for the river.

I've only field hunted them before, but over the water sounds like it is a heck of a time.

I like hunting both ways, but I am personally set up for field.

Over the water for sure but it just seems as if the field hunting option comes around more often than over water.
