Gun Advice?

I am going elk hunting in November and was going to use my 30-06, but Cabelas has a deal right now that if you buy a Remington it will be intrest free for a year. Plus with the rebate of $150 dollars off it is pretty hard to pass up.

Not sure what model to get though. I was leaning towards a Model 700 Mountain LSS chambered in 300 win. mag.

Don't know much about Remington rifles. Are these good guns?

Any suggestions?

I'm Remington man and IMHO they are the best you can get for the money. Chambered for the 300 Winmag wow that would be a sweet setup put a 3x9 Leupold on her and you really have something! It will definately reach out and touch em!
