Default only 11 days til doves

it cant get here quick enough..my dog has almost knocked over the tv about a dozen times in the past few weeks when he hears a rooster cackle....at least it looks like we shouldnt have that mini cold snap the week b4 dove season starts this year. always seems to happen..we have two or three days in a row in the low mid 70s and low 50s at night and fair amount of them move out

Cant wait!!

Thing that drives me nuts is Sept 1st is on a Sat this year. Public sunflower plots will be boardering dangerous opening morning.

I'll hopefully have an antelope on ice and be able to head out the morning before we make the trip back home. Otherwise I'll have to wait til I'm home again.

Man, I'm gettin reall excited for doves this year. It can't get hear quick enough!

I wish there wasn't the federal law of the september 1st deal. Like flatcoats said, there always seems to be a cold snap about a week after season opens, then over half the doves are gone after that. It would be nice to open sometime in august so we have a little longer before that cold snap hits.

Gotta love the early teal! Looks like more rain is on the way to some of the basins right now.
