They have prarie dogs at Harlan County lake. You drive through PD town in Republican City on the way to the South Side. Can't shoot them though.

They have some at the Henry Doorly Zoo. Can't shoot those either.

I have shot dawgs on dozens of towns in Ne.

From north of GI, to west of Valentine. Some sucked, some didnt. I had help from some locals in Ord, but I drove for days looking to find the rest of them.

How did the trip go? I heard SD was the place to be.

I have came across towns in SE NE, and I about crap my pants when I do. And only reason I found them was because I was scouting for ducks . Most wont let you hunt because the colonies are so far east. Head W and N if you want to start to find them, but you wont around NE city.

Good Hunting,

He is looking for Prairie dogs? I'm sorry, I was confused. I thought he was looking for the mythical prarrie dog. I have heard that these were possibly being stocked by the black helo's around a few of a certain pointed headed peoples fishing holes.

I'm positive I spotted a jackalope near Nebraska City a couple of weeks ago. It was behind the outlet mall in some tall grass.

riverrat you would have to get on the prairie to see prairie dogs. nebraska city is in the loess hills. from about grand island as far west as the border (north and west for sure) you will find plenty of prairie dogs.
