Got my deer Permit in the Mail Today!

Got my deer permit in the mail today. A nice suprise was that the Elkhorn either sex permit has a bonus antlerless tag. Lots of shooting come November.

the wife and i both drew elkhorn tags. we should be set for deer sausage this winter. will still probably buy a archery tag and a season choice for late season.

Yep, can be either sex if it is a whitetail or buck only for mulie!

Dont believe I ever got a permit like that before.....

Is this the first year for that?

hmm i have never heard of such a permit. i would call the game and parks to be sure if i were you.

It's a legit permit!!! There are certain units out west that are trying to raise or maintain the mule deer population. In doing so, it's open season on any and all whitetails. You are allowed to take mulie bucks but not the does.
