Default Trapping Regulation?

Whats the state law on how often you must check Foothold traps? Is there one?

I am not sure on those either but my grandfather taught me that is should be done once at night and once in the morning. It was an ethics lesson, I guess, so I still do just that.

I saw the "code of ethics", but is once a day the law?

I believe that once every 24hrs is the law. You could call my father in law who owns Turkey Creek Furs and Recycling in Crete Nebraska at 402-826-2516 and ask if it is for sure the law but if I remember right he did say it is the law to me anyways.

Cool

Go to the website and read for yourself. There are certain situations that would extend the check time to 48 hours. Please educate yourself completely before venturing out to set any kind of trap ie... box, snare, conibear or foothold. Too many "armchair" experts to take advice from, make yourself a SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT. Later all, Mark
