Default Stalking Turkeys

The wind was definitely in my favor this last weekend. I am fortuneate to have a nice chunk of private ground. I can't tell you how exciting it was sneaking up on those birds! South of Beatrice they are still in pretty big groups. Not responding to calls either. So I decided to try and sneak up on them. It worked! Got a pretty nice tom. I guess this isn't a real good idea to try on public land. But if you do have some good private ground and don't mind crawling around under cedars and in the bottoms of ditches its a pretty good time!

I have yet to enter the 21st century. The pics are on the beginning of a 24 exposure roll. I gotta get a digital camera!

One of my buddies had been playing a record for one of his boys. MotorHead I think. His kid played it and played it and played it. Thought it was really cool! Imagine his joy when he found out there was 5 more songs on the other side of the LP! All that time he had no idea there were 2 sides on a record! Ahhh technology.
