Default First Turkey ever

Went out to my parents house in cresent, Iowa this evening. Sat in the house and you could see 13 total. All to far to shoot with a bow. We waited and about 6pm we saw one coming up towards the side of the house, So i stood along the corner and peeked around to see him coming and when I knew he was close I drew back and waited and 5sec later he was there so I shot. He was only 10' away and flew off about 30 yards and fell. I was SOOOO excited. His spur was alittle over 1" and the beard was 10" on the nose. We cleaned him "using info off the net" and salted him and stuck him in the freezer for next sunday lunch. Ok im not sure if it was considered "hunting" from the house but it sure beats sitting out in the woods all day. LOL We did get some pics and will poat some.
