Thanks for telling us about your grandpa - his life. Reminds me of the line in the movie "The Last Samurai", where the emporer asks Tom Cruise's character to tell him how the Samurai died. The answer was, "I will tell you how he lived." Sounds like your grandpa had a well-lived life, and you're really blessed to have known him and learned from him.

I gotta say that the day of his funeral I will never forget. 21 gun salute, presenting the flag to me from the VFW. Seeing all those old soldiers weeping for him really got me going. I had the privelage of shaking their hands and thanking them.

Every since that day every time I have went fishing I have been blessed with something awesome happening. Just kinda gets me thinking in the back of my head that grandpa is helping me out from up above.
