Default big buck south of rods power sports

10 am i was coming in from bird hunting....seen 7 cars and a semi pulled over on the west side of hwy 77.... 1 mile south of rods outdoor power . at first i thought it was a wreck...then i seen what everyone was lookin at ... a massive buck in a cut bean field .

seeing how it was just a few cars... no one prolly knows what happend on the forum ... if you do what ? was it hit by a car? or was it just watching the traffic go by ? was the biggest buck i have ever seen .

There are some absolute monsters that run Wilderness Park. I know of one in particular that is east of there that would prob push 230. This was a couple of years ago. My guess is he will never be taken by a hunter and will more likely be hit by a car.

this buck was big enough to stop traffic put it that way . on a hwy no less . and was headed west on the west side of hwy 77....so he was on shootable grounds with permission ofcourse .

just wanted to know if he was hit by a car. sure would hate to see him go to waste . i live 5 miles from there and have a wheeler . almost want to go and see if i could find the land owner to look for him if he was hit .

thing was a beast . one guy was out in the field walking back from him ...the rest of the ppl were standing road side. he was just standing there lookin back at everyone . buck of a lifetime for sure .

Nice.. Wonder if any of the cars were damaged.. *shrugs*

Wow that is impressive if someone was out in the field, makes yaa think if by chance it was hit by a car. If you live close to there might be worth asking in a day to take a look for it.

couldnt have been...this was friday morning . 10 am....i seen no damage to any cars . but was hard to look at the front of 7 cars when the beast was in the field .

what really suprised me was the semi that stopped...you would think the deer would be dead if he hit him .

a shame if he was hit . i seen him take about 2 steps before i hit the hill going up to the lights there . almost turned around to join the crowd .

if you were to shoot and kill this buck you would be in the books for sure . i have seen ppl in colorado stop on the side of the road to look at elk....first time in 30 some years i have seen a deer big enough to stop hwy traffic .

I hope they have plenty of rock on the roads in that area this weekend. I bet it will be bumper to bumper road hunters!
