My only advice is to go to the store and shoot several in your price range and pic the one that feels the best.

Don't forget to try the Bear's or Martin's!

With the speeds of the new bows I and a lot of my friends have dropped down to a 50-60 pound bow and away from our 60-70 pounders. We have found that our accuracy has increased, we are able to hold the bow at full draw longer and can shoot more at the range before my arms get tired. I still get full pass thru shots on whitetails. Just a little food for thought. Otherwise I agree that trying all of the bows at the pro shops and finding the one that you like best is the way to go.

I shoot the Diamond Triumph which just like The Rock. Absolutely love it. It's small and lightweight and very versatile. The pull weight on the Triumph goes from 50-70. I have it set at 65 and pulls like it's 55. Great choice IMO!

Went to buy a Parker for Jr and we came home with Diamond's Razor Edge. He loves it. I must say, I shot it and it is a sweet shooting bow. Now I think I may need a new Diamond also As for draw weight, I will be going back to 50-60lbs. I have been backing down from 70lbs for a few years now.

yeah i've taken it out now twice in the last day to the range and can put a really nice pattern at 30yards and a pretty decent one at 40. it pulls so easy and it very quiet and feels like im not even holding it...
