Default Browning Citori Lightning

Any one have one? What do you think? I have a chance at a very lightly used, excellent condition Citori Lightning from a friend of a friend for a fair amount less than new... I did see new ones were around $1200-1300 at Scheels yesterday...

I have had a citori upland special since the mid eighties. It is still my favorite shotgun.

Default Citori

I have owned a Citori since 92 and it is the only gun I carry. It has seen alot of use but things still fall down when I point it.

Newbie question, how does shooting an O/U compare to a single barrel? I am a decent shot with the single barrels I have now, and don't want shooting a double to screw me up... Any major differences (besides 2 shots vs 3)?

I would say balance, I am now shooting an auto, but have never felt an auto that balanced quite like a well balanced O/U.

I've hunted with a O/U once and it kicked pretty bad. Unsure if the citori would be the same way but our old neighbor loved his for pheasant hunting.
