Lots of nice deer hitting this particular scrape just happens to be a 2-4 am. This is the only new guy, but man I would love to get a shot at him. Looks like another mainframe 6x5 with maybe a few stickers to me. This scrape is on the field edge so I guess I'm not expecting a lot of daytime activity, but a little during peak rut would be nice.

Yea Matt you better hit it hard. You got some real studs still roaming.

My dad checked one of my cams that ive had out for a while. 782 pics! Cant wait to get back there this weekend. He doesnt know how to look at them. Christmas is coming early! Might have to go sit in a stand this weekend and unwind.

I think he's lacking in height too much to be a booner.

Still a heck of a deer though!

That buck is very wide and would look great on your wall. Great pics and good luck getting a shot at him.

I would also be happy with that deer, if he was tall he would be a hell of a deer!

I'm sorry but there's no way that buck as a mainframe 8 is a 160-170 IMO. And if it was then it would be a booner which has a min. requirement of 160 for a typical whitetail I believe.

Hell of a nice deer and really wide, if he makes it through the season he should be a HELL of a deer next year.

nice big framed 8, but 160-170? id like to be able to use that scoring system. that buck doesnt break 140. solid 8 though.

dunno what to say, other than it takes a ton of an 8 to break 140. look at this deer for example. on the high side, we'll be generous and say he's 22" wide...dont think he is, but since his ears are always pinned back and we dont have comparison, we'll say 22". doesnt seem to have real big sweeping beams, but again we'll be generous and say 24". little mass, maybe 30" alltogether...but probably not. so his frame at most is 100". 3 inch brows, maybe 6-7 inch 2's and 7 inch 3's put him at 134 gross. he is at max 140, but could net as low as low 120's.
