Also got pics. of this 5x6 working the same scrape as the "moose" buck. Same thing happen to a buddy that happened to Cougar. He picked a different stand and this buck happen to walk 20 yards underneath his stand this morning. Too bad the brows don't match, but still a nice buck regardless.

A few I got....Have been having camera malfunctions lately...well for a while. Pictures not showing up and it saying there is like 300 of them on there.
I don't even know what to thing about this guy. I wish he was another year older that would be a heck of a sweet rack. He will probably get a free pass If I see him. ![]()

I passed on the 4pt in the bottom picture this morning. He is pretty wide. Probably should have taken him I don't know if he will ever spawn more points. TOO HOT today to be messing with a dead deer anyways...

Lots of pics this last week with the rut going on. Just can't seem to get the big ones in bow range, passed on several nice 4x4's but not quite what I'm looking for. I've got one full day on fri to try again.....then comes out the big gun. Here's a few from last week.

I hunt south of Tekamah and have shot 2 different bucks with nice palmation so really I do believe its in the genes there. Anyone ever put out a buck decoy and left it in front of a trail cam on video? Id like to see what I could get on vid. I havent checked my cams since the 2nd weekend of archery season so hopefully this weekend I can get down that way to pop some does and see whats on those cams.

Pulled the cards this weekend. Was hoping for a monster at this one spot as its really secluded and just seems like some big boys would be roaming around back there and I left it undisturbed for a long time and hunting pressure is relatively light in the area. Nothing huge but a few shooters showed up and the future definitely looks bright out there. Although I think I end up saying that every year but this place always seems to harbor a lot of 120-130 class deer but nothing much above that. It seems that the mass on all the bucks are really nice out there, just lacking a little height. But you never know when that big boy is going to show up from the next section over.
