Default Frank's Smokehouse, Wilber (Deer Processing)

Did anyone take their deer there for processing last fall?

Have you got it back yet?

Thanks

In the future take it Schusters. You can check your deer in there, they have great turn around time, they do a great job, and they make the best tasting breakfast sausage, and polish dogs this side of heaven.

I took a deer there three years ago and never did get it back. I started calling in December and always got the same response....."it should be done soon".....by April or so I finally got tired of calling, and had also had my fill of deer meet with what we processed ourselves, so I gave up on it and they never did call me. I will never go back there.

Wow, I would report that. Especially if I left a deposit. A game warden would be more than happy to see where all that meat was "disappearing" too. Thats not right.

My wife works in Wilber, I will have to ask her to ask around. If I were you I would take it to Wilber Meat market(used to be Karpiseks), you'll be much happier. Also if you don't Mind the drive - C&C in Diller is probably the best I have found for quality, value and turnaround. We got it back in 3 weeks.

Personally,if I left a deposit,I'd be showing up on the doorstep asking for it back or my meat right then and there.

I have taken a couple of deer to Karpiseks and waited until may, But July thats nuts.

Next time take it to C and C in diller, Great people and great quality. Turned in deer for processing in November and got them back mid December.

There is new owners of Karpiseks so things are running a little smoother, does good work. But C&C is still my favorite.

I have to agree with C&C processing in Diller. They have wonderful stuff, get it done quick, and charge a reasonable price.
