Probably in the same spots you tell us and others where you shoot all the deer you say you shoot.

The CRP programs are almost limited to 3.5 months of public use, and mostly for upland bird hunting. Landowners can put up with that. This program would be used for 12 months a year for everything. I can't see landowners putting up with all the traffic, ppl, and all the headaches that will come with it for what they are willing to pay them for it. I may be way wrong, but I just don't foresee many landowners entering the program.
Hope I'm wrong, but sceptical.

I would say that's a realistic outlook.

$2 won't make me or break me...and it goes to a good cause.

Probably the wrong thread but I would like to see a little different arrangement of the(seasons choice) areas though. I usually get a seasons choice permit for area 21. I have a friend with a small farm down that way, but I can also get axcess to some land on the west side of hwy50 but that means another tag, and that area usually sells out before season opens, I can't see purchasing 2 or 3 permits to be able to hunt where I have axcess to some good ground when one doe is all I'm usually after.

I have not checked do/did the statewide buck permits have a bonus doe tag? I'd be up for say a $40-45 statewide seasons choice AO tag. If the statewide buck has a bonus tag this year I will most likely choke the high price and be set for wherever I want.

I guess they can't please everybody...

Well, the increase doesn't bother me, actually, I'm kinda glad to see it along with the raise in the park sticker fee.
