Default Coyote Calling this weekend

Thought I would post up some calling pics from the weekend. We called in 11 coyotes in two days and only ended up with 2!! Yeah, kinda shocked but on 3 different sets with multiple coyotes coming in the second shooter was always just slightly out of postion. Had three yotes come into within 80 yards of the second shooter and he didn't see any of them until they had the afterburners on! They were using any available cover they had (mostly shallow draws and weed lines) to get close. But live and learn I guess. I just flat out missed twice with no excuse other than an adrenaline rush! So we should have had 80% of what came in but only ended with two. I am really liking my .204 I think it's a great calling caliber.
But even with the screw ups it was a good time. Can't wait to get back after them.

Nice coyotes quackwacker. Were you using hand calls or electronic? I have both and want to go out and do some howling this weekend too. I have a buddy who has been practicing with his primos/Anderson calls and also wants to break in his new Remington varmint in 22-250. I hope we can do as good as you did.

Man, than looks like fun. I haven't successfully gone coyote hunting in YEARS.

Is the rifle in your photo a Savage?

I usually use my Mini-14 in .223 or a Remington 700 in .243. But I have a new long range outfit I want to try out here is the information and a picture of it.

Remington 700 Tactical, .308 Win, 3.5x10x40 scope with mildot scale and illuminated reticle, Harris bipod. I took the stock 30mm rings that came with the scope and replaced them with some new Burris 30mm tactical rings. I had not yet gotten them at the time of the photo. But I did have the tactical rail mount in as I wanted to be able to put my red dot sight on here for close in shooting.

Found another photo of as it is setup now. (Bottom)

Thanks fellas! I use a combination of electronic calls/hand calls (distress and howlers). Our e-call went dead half way through the weekend so we finished the weekend with hand calls only. The rifle is a Savage 4x4 in .204 Ruger. I hand painted the stock.
