DXT owners (now or previous) talk to me, tell me about your likes or dislikes. Personally haven't handled one, just doing a little recon. Thanks

I dont own one but will say this. Dont even shoot it. If you do........... your wife will be upset you just dropped $800 on a bow. haha

I shoot one and love it. It is the smoothest bow I have ever shot.
I have always believed that you must shoot many bows and let the bow pick you. Mathews has come out with a couple new bows (Reezen and Monster). You might be able to pick up a used DXT for a little better price than 800 bare now. Like Ty said tho - If you do shoot one be prepaired to buy! Good Luck! |

You should be able to get a pretty good price on a DXT right now. I see lots for sale on archery talk. I personally didn't like the DXT when I shot it, but I was a big fan of the switchbacks. Really want to try the Reezen and Monster, along with a couple other new ones out. If you're set on a DXT though you should be able to get a pretty good deal. Good luck.

I am very happy with mine, I shot several nice bows while shopping but the DXT just felt the best to me. This is my 4th bow in 15 years and I feel it is by far the most lethal one yet. Fast, pretty quiet, easy to manuever, handy in a ground blind or tree, and silky smooth.
I agree with alot of guys about shooting as many as possible to find the one you like best. What these bows cost now fully equiped it is a big purchase. Personally I thought the DXT was the smoothest and most comfortable bow I shot. Some of the speed bows I shot were tough to draw at 70# but the DXT was smooth and I can shoot a lot of arrows before tiring. Chrono said the speeds were not that different but my accuracy was better and i was more comfortable with the Mathews so thats what I ended up with. Best of luck in your bow search. |
