Default Kansas Waterfowling.......well almost

Hunted a 60 acre farm pond in extreme southern Gage county today. Had a great morning with lots of ducks coming from the south and geese coming from the north. Took a bunch of pic's and thought I would share them.

Chad Adjusting the spread.

Aaron's pup Stella watching for birds.

Work, work, work.

Aaron and Chad in hot pursuit.

Aaron was doing some work with the pea shooter.

Didn't get many duck pictures but was able to get a few honks when they would swing.

This guy didn't stand a chance.

Hero shot.

Great pictures! That's down in my neck of the woods. Often wondered, and haven't had an opportunity to investigate, how waterfowling is down in the south east area of NE. Looks to me that it's not too shabby! Thanks for sharing!

Those pictures are absolutely amazing!! What kind of camera did you use? I am looking to upgrade this year, and I would like to be able to take some pics like those in the field.

You must have limited early. It would be tough to put the scattergun down to take the pics. They are awesome pics to say the least. Not a bad haul either.

Goodness gracious, I hope you brought the boat down from Mach 5 and powered down before finishing off the wounded duck (or whatever you were in hot pursuit of).

Or maybe you were chasing a boatload of insurgents? Or spring break partiers?

OK, but nice photography nonetheless.

Can't decide which is better... the pictures or the hunt.
