Default End of legal time was 10:00 am Sunday

Alex T., thought I would copy your title. My pictures aren't quite as impressive as I was by myself and technically could have continued quail hunting but went deer scouting instead.

Anyway, public land within 100 miles of Omaha. 5 shots, 4 birds, 3 roosters, 2 happy dogs, 1 quail. Was hunting over my 7 year old yellow and her 1 year old puppy. I nicknamed the puppy TR (Texas Ranger) after the scene in Talledega Nights where the younger of Ricky Bobby's sons is running around yelling "I don't know what it means but I love it". She doesn't quite know what she is doing running around in the field but she definitely loves it, especially when the birds hit the ground.

No pics of TR since I knew she wouldn't sit still with the birds and not pick them up. Here are a couple pics of her mom (Libby) and the obligatory tailgate shot.

Happy dogs? I didn't know there was a season for them. So did you double up on the roosters or the dogs when you were shooting, because otherwords you needed 6 shots just pulling your chain!

nice birds, good shooting!
