Pictures Daughters 2'nd deer

Brought my daughter out again this year for a try at her 2nd deer. At first light we had a buck about 100 yrds, but couldn't tell how big it was. It then went into a creek and dissapeared. 15 min later two bucks came out ot the creek and one was a big one, too bad they were too far for a good shot. The bigger one went out to 327 yrds and just stood there for 15 to 20 min. She wanted to shoot soooo bad, but I wouldn't let her. Then from the east another big buck came walking down to the first one. Next thing we knew they were in a full blown battle royal. This fight lasted about 10 min. Never seen anything like it, and best part was......I got it all on film.

. After the fight the winner took off with the doe, the looser stood around for a while, then made his way down the creek and around the hill to our west and gave her a 105 yrd shot. He ran about 50 to 60 yrds and piled up. This deer was shot less than 100 yrds from where she killed her first one last year.
On tuesday my dad went to our blind and ended up getting the one that got away, He was a little wider than my daughters but not as heavy and body was smaller, I'm glad she got the looser.

That is awesome. (Nice deer BTW) I have never witnessed a fight, what an incredible experience. I am glad you were able to share it with your daughter.
