Default CRP question?

I found some CRP land I want to hunt for pheasant tomorrow, do I just walk onto the land or do I need to get permission from the landowner first.
The signs are posted as CRP land and it listed in the Atlas.

If it is in the CRP-MAP book AND has the Yellow signs, then yes you can just go hunt it. Any other CRP you need permission.

yea if it doesnt have the signs I would ask. I heard that some people withdrew from the program and are still listed on the map. Also be sure you have a current map. Wouldnt want to upset any farmers.

A quick phone call just to let them know you'll be there and maybe a thanks for participating in the program might not hurt. Though some may also be in the program b/c they don't want to be bothered. We never minded a phone call or someone stopping by before we took ours out of the program.
