Nice job, Zac!
One thing I've noticed about blinds of that style is how the long, flat sides make them easy to pick out from a far distance... regardless of camo. Perhaps that's only true to human eyes though??? At any rate, some brush along the flat surfaces might add depth and break it up even more.

Nice blind!

Nice blind!

I agree with Chad. You did a great job but you will have break-up the outline as much as you can. Try grasses, tree limbs, and small cedars as material to give it a more camo look. Whatever you use make sure it is native to your hunting area.

Looks good!

I agree with the comments to try to break up the outline. Just add branches and stuff or put small trees and grass stuff around the edges so it doesn't have a box look to it.

Try adding some oaks branches, looks like there are some trees close by. Oaks keep their leaves so you don't lose the cover. Willows also work well for this. You can go the other route and just use some fencing material with limited vegetation through the netting. The netting and sparse vegetation doesn't sound like it would work, but it takes out the "boxy" appearance and doesn't cast a full shadow like a wooden box or even ablind covered with solid material like canvas.

Zac we have a blind on the Missouri River that is the same design as yours. What we did was place dead-fall logs, tall grass, cat-tails, and branches around the blind with a few bigger branches over the back and sides. In addition to the logs and branches we added a few small cedars. The look we were going for is that of a log and debris jam. Once we did this the blind blended in really well and our success greatly improved as the waterfowl were fool by our added concealment. It takes a bit of time but in the end it's worth it. In getting the cat-tails and tall grass to stay in place we use cable ties to secure it to the branches and blind.

Good luck.
