Heads up guys , the hunting spot I am in by Yutan Ne. was broken into Thursday night 10-21-08. They made off with several doz. Bigfoot canada decoys and Avery Full body snow decoys. In addition they broke the lock on our trailer to take all of this. They also went in our blind and took some things. All the decoys are specially marked so if you see or hear anything please let me know. Thanks Tripp

I have been hit afew times even but every time they havnt made off wth anything major, just afew dekes at a time or 1 time they nabbed a Mojo I didnt even get to use. I have went as far as sleeping in the blind for over a week waiting for guys to show back up...the 3 "S" policy was in effect. There is nothing on this earth lower than a decoy theif, they are even lower on my list than meth heads.

This is the exact reason I dont leave nothing but some old crappy shells on dry ground. The only way they are getting anything is if they get wet, I dont have a decoy set in less than 6 foot of water.

Seems like I always hear of guys getting hit on the Yutan bottoms. Sounds like it could be somebody fairly local.

Start watching ebay and see if anybody from the area puts some decoys up for auction. Right now you can get just about the new price for used decoys in good condition. Ebay makes stolen decoys pretty easy to fence and with a good return for the bad guy.
