The cool nights have been making the itch even more itchy. Been watching alot of hunting on the Outdoor Channels as well. Cool thing is, alot of the hunting seasons start in september, and the fishing picks up too! Love fall! I probably wont hit bowhunting hard until early october. Fish until then.......

im gonna hit em hard right out of the box. got a couple bucks i wouldnt mind crossing paths with before they change their foodsource/travel routes and activity levels. that first week can be a great time to shoot a big buck.

Unless your going to eat the horns or mount it, let that buck walk by. Shoot a doe

I'd been watching some deer on a particular field for most of the summer, a couple I'd love to stick an arrow in. This past week, not a single deer to be seen. I think they have already started to change feeding patterns. I was seeing muleys and whitetails both now nothing.

I had been wanting my dad to get the cams out all year long to watch them grow in velvet but he never got it done so I had to drive back and do it myself last week. Sure cant wait to go check it. Perhaps this week I can get over there. Im really pumped. Ill probably get out and dove hunt a few times, early teal, then its on like donkey kong.

I did a deer/dove scouting trip last night, and I'm gettin pretty excited for deer season. I found some heavily used trails and decided on a few spots to place some blinds at.
