Default Trail Cam

Thanks to Eric at Scheel's I'm a new owner of a Stealth Cam Trail Camera. I got it all set up last night. The only problem I have is I want to go check it every 10 min. Everyone's got a diff. opinion on this I'm sure but how often do you guys check them?

I went every other day and swapped out Memory Cards.

We had a dicussion on this not too long ago...I believe the average time was 7-10 days. I try to make it 10 days but its always so tempting...I also don't put my cameras right next to my stands though..I have them out to just get an inventory of what is around so ill put them on scrapes and such that I know are going to only be used during the night. I also like to wear my rubber boots and scent protector so I don't put a whole lot of scent down. Not sure if this matters or not, but I surely think it does.

Suspend the sticker in the air, over a trail, between two trees with light thread (adhesive back exposed). If the deer ignores it or doesn't notice it and walks into it, it may stick to him/her and hopefully your camera will take the photo. Just an idea.

I got a stealth cam as well. OUt of the 3 brands we have I love the quality of pics and ease of use it has.

Im thinking of buying another this next week as well.

Look into buying the expandable 6v battery and solar panel for it. I got that and it lasts for EVER. Also buy a 2 gig memory card at walmart for $20 and your set.

Good luck.
