Default Any deals on dove loads yet?

I'm longing for the good old days when a box of dove loads got down as low as $2.49-2.99/box. Have you seen any deals around yet? Wal-mart has them for about $5/box regular price. Last year I shot Estate game loads I bought at Scheels for $4.49/box. They seemed to work real well.

skip the estates. Out of my gun at least they arent worth the price of the cardboard the box is made with.

Usually nobody can beat Wal-Chinas prices. I still got a couple cases laying around of dove load yet.

Come on Muddy. Gotta start being like Keith and me and buy by the case.

Thanks to China those days are long gone.

Ty is correct. When you find a good deal on ammo, buy several cases. It will never be that price again. Right now ammo is just a good investment as it has been increasing in price by 15-30% a year for the past 2-3 years.

I still have 2 cases leftover from the $2.49/box bass pro special, plus a few cases from when I had stocked up earlier. No $5 dove loads being shot out of my gun for a while.

BTW, the estate shells shoot just fine out of my guns.

Last year in ATA registered trap shooting the person with the second highest average in the nation was shooting nothing but estates!! The shells work.... some times the person behind the shells don't work so good though.

I do not have enough moo-lah to purchase shells by the case. Wish I did. You and Keith is loaded and I is broke.

Nice slam Hunter.
