Firearm Hunter Education Class at Lincoln Izaak Walton League Aug. 11-13

NGPC news release, 8/1/08:

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has scheduled a firearm hunter education class for 8 a.m.-noon on Aug. 11-13 at the Lincoln Izaak Walton League Gun Range located a half-mile south of Nebraska Hwy 2 on 134 St. near Bennett.

The class is open to anyone 11 years or older who wishes to become certified in Hunter Education. Any hunter age 12-29 years who wishes to hunt in Nebraska must have proof of completion of hunter education while hunting. Students can register online at Nebraska Game and Parks Commission Homepage or by calling (402) 471-6133.

Since they lowered the age for deer and turkey hunting to 10, wouldn't you think they would lower the age for Hunter Safety?
