Default Favorite Camo Pattern?

What's yours? I personally would pry put ASAT, Predator, and Realtree AP as my top 3 in that order. how about ya'll?

i tend to think seclusion and mossy oak break up are too dark. i like open, lighter paterns. hence, ASAT is perfect.

1. Camo West Vanish (my favorite, have not found anything that fits into pine country as well this pattern)

2. Ridge Ghost is my second choice

In open pasture country like home, I like:
Seclusion 3D Open Country

In areas with trees around, I like:
Realtree AP

Predator, have used it elk hunting , bear hunting , deer hunting , and predator hunting as far as I am concerned you cant beat it. I dont care for all this mossy oak stuff its too dark and deer see in black and white. So I like a camo that is a little lighter rather than darker.

Is there a pattern just called mossy oak?
Unbelievable how many specialty patterns each company has, how did people ever kill deer before camo and scent-lok?

i just read a whole article about the studies on deer eyesight, and they basically said all these camo alterations are a hype. all you need to do is break up the human outline, and stay away from yellow and blue, because those are the two colors that they see way better than we do, everything else they dont see nearly as well as us. they emphasized the two main things you need to do is control scent, however you wish to do so, and dont move around too much....because deer pick up movement better than color because their eyes are more two dimensional than ours.

waterfowl is obviously different, because their eyesight is amazing

field and stream? agreed, breaking up the outline is crucial. that is why i don't like darker paterns, makes you look like a gorilla. you won't see this guy in mossy oak break up for that reason! IMO seclusion is a little better, but still along the same lines of too dark. most of the camo patterns are made to catch hunters in the store, rather than work in the field unfortunately.
