Imagine this...the government comes in and shuts down high fence operations under the premise that there is no "fair chase" involved in the sport. Now we've got a "fair chase" precedent that the eco-freaks and PETA goons are going to call on the government to follow. Next thing you know, food plots are going to be banned because we're baiting the deer in. Fishing at Two Rivers will be banned because there are auto feeders there. Nobody will be able to use bait to lure a black bear within bow range anymore. Don't even think about chumming the waters around you anymore to bring fish in.

If they're going to go out of business, let them do it on their own through crappy business practices. The government is not the dance partner sportsmen want for this tango.

very true!

Now please everyone I will show you my thoughts on Texas petting zoo hunts. All I need to show is this pic here that I took while shooting the hogs at this place. The poofy stuff on its antler is something it got while "rooting around the garbage hole." said our "GUIDE". $2000 if he let that arrow fly. BWHAHAHAHAHAHA

WHO WANTS A TROPHY ELK?

$10K anyone?

This place was a total joke too. I could have pet this thing.

You might be able to put a "saddle" on him...he's big enough. I'd probably pay a good $500 to shoot him though.

Ty, I'd attempt to spell your last name.. But.. Well nevermind, them are the kinds of pictures that give hunters the bloodthirsty reputation some have.

Them pictures are simply sickening.

I hear ya on the "canned" hunts. My old boss in Texas had this "deer lease" that had corn feeders set up everywhere and a feeder on the back of the hunting truck. Like going to the petting zoo to go hunting. I went with once. That feeder turned on hanging off the back of the truck and the deer would literally run up to the truck. I put my rifle down and declared "this isn't hunting". I'm used to freezing my butt off in a tree stand in the middle of winter and waiting for hours, tracking etc....

I wasn't very popular with that group after that.

do you use dogs and horses while knife-hunting the pigs? i met some guys elk hunting who were from texas and invited me to do that. i never did, but i still want to...it sounds like an absolute adrenaline rush.
