Default How often do you check your trail cameras?

Just wondering how often everyone checks their cameras? I try to leave a 2 week period to try to not disturb the deer, but usually its hard for me not to check them every week. I get too anxious..lol

I went the cheap route and didn't buy and SD card for mine. So I check it about once every week. And delete the pictures I don't want, and put the ones I do want on my comp, then delete them and then put it back out.

i try to give it at least 2 weeks or even 3....but with all the bad storms we've had over the last month, ive been going more often just to still if its still in one piece, and to get all the worthless pics off of it from all the rain and wind and hail

Mine is close enough to home I can run down with my 4 wheeler. I will check it every 2 or 3 days, and in that time I will have 100 to 150 pictures, mine takes 2 at a time.

I've never seen a problem with the deer being spooked, and by the looks of some of the bucks I got pictures of, I don't think it bothers them either.

I will usually wait 2 weeks before I go out and get pics. I will also try to time when I go out to be within a day or less before we are suppose to get rain so that might affect when I retrieve pics by a day or two either way.

sometimes we leave it out a couple months on the one with the big battery and solar panel. Just swap out the 2MB SD cards. Otherwise about once a month. We leave them out most all year long.

Mine will be out in the woods two weeks this Friday, although I have been itching to get out there and retrieve it.

30-45 days in the off season, as little disruption to the woods as possable, and 1-2 weeks in season when I am hunting depending on the temps. I use regular batteries and they don't fair well in the cold.
