Default Trail cam pics

Had mine out for a while, and then a couple weeks ago had to wade through the flood waters to get it quick. Moved it to a different spot that was a little higher. In both cases it's covering a salt block.

Here's the camera just before the water got to it.

This coyote is just a bit mangy.

Great picts!! It is incouraging to see the growth already, with a lot of summer to go.

Your last pict is intresting, I have heard some people say deer "WILL NOT" lick directly off of the block (meaning that it has to be mixed with dirt). Kind of shoots holes in that theory, doesn't it.

You might consider putting it near the Norfolk HS parking lot, Coug. Had a small buck walk right across Riverside in front of me at 6:00 this morning. There's a couple of good light poles that you could hang a stand off of, too, come season.

Went back down to spray for thissels today, so thought I'd grab the card out of the camera. Was only two days, but there was still 84 pictures. I have it set for 2 when it trips.

Not sure if this is the same back. He must have been moving so it's a bit blurry.

Picked up some new pics today.

First fawn picture of the year.

Was getting a fair number of pictures with nothing in it. Thought it might be birds flying by, and this picture of a Bluejay might confirm that.

Picked this one up tonight. Definately not the same buck as above. This one has a much wider spread.

When I picked up pictures today it had been 48 hours, and I had 104 pictures on it. The camera takes two each time, but that's still over 25 activations per day.

that looks like a one to watch out for there. good browes, pretty heavy looking between the 2's and 3's to be. he should easily be a 5x5 or better

Picked these up this evening. By the looks of the mangy coyote picture I need to check the time setting on my camera. Unfortunately the mosquitos are so bad all you want to do is get the card and get out of there.

It doesn't take long for that salt block to be absorbed, does it. 2-3 weeks or so.

Great pics Ne. Looks like you'll have some dandy deer running around this fall.

Moved my camera back to where it was before the flood, hadn't had any decent pictures in a while, mainly does. But picked these up today.

Not sure if this is the same buck from the earlier pictures. The camera was only moved 250 or 300 yards.

Since I have no good pictures to share from this year, I thought I would put out one of my personal favorites from last year. I think if I get a chance at this big boy this year I better take him, he might be P&Y.
