I'm broke as a joke right now and I don't want to buy a tanning kit. I'm looking for an alternative way to tan a snake skin. Any suggestions?

I assume you have a dead snake in your possession!
Now you are ready to start! Now skin it,get a piece of heavy card board wider than the snake is long and push pin the skin, flesh side out, onto the cardboard. Sprinkle heavily with NON iodized salt and allow to dry. Brush off the salt after it dries and it will keep for years. Last edited by WAHUSKER; 05-22-2008 at 05:02 PM.. |
