Are you a forum member with education and experience in financial management? Would you be interested in joining the leadership team of the Nebraska Fish & Game Association?

As NEFGA continues to grow, the leadership has prioritized the need to find a well-qualified financial manager to serve on its Board of Directors as Treasurer. The selected candidate will serve on a trial basis through August 31, 2008 at which time the Board will vote on the acceptance of the individual to the Board of Directors as Treasurer. Like all NEFGA staff, this opportunity is a volunteer, non-compensated position.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ongoing management of organizational funds
• Routine and transparent reporting on all transactions and holdings
• Preparation and filing of annual tax statements
• Collaborative determination of the best use of organizational funds
• Board-level input/vote on all organizational decisions

The ideal candidate will be well qualified in financial management and love outdoor Nebraska. Candidates who are current members of NEFGA will receive preferred consideration. The time commitment for this position will depend on the individual, but could be approximately 10 hours per month.
