Default Morels??

I am new to morel hunting and found my first today. They had a lot of little tiny slug looking things in them. are they still safe to eat?

Yep, just fine. Just slice them lengthwise and rinse thoroughly. You'll also find pill bugs (roley poleys) ants and a host of other critters.

dont touch the slugs . they will crawl into you skin and go right to your brain .
