Default Where Im gonna kill a buck this year (hopefully)

Here's a set I just hung yesterday on some new land I just got permission on. I seriously am now gonna be counting the days until the season is here. There is buck sign EVERYWHERE on this property. Now hopefully it's the right kind of bucks. I set this one on a ridge that there are multiple trails intersecting. Theres rubs probably every 20yds, so im hoping ill catch a few bucks cruising on top looking for does. These first few pics are just of the land.

Here's the back road up to the property

and here's the tree I hung in. I have never in my life had to cut more shooting lanes than out of this tree. But itll be worth it....tons of breakup, and you know exactly how the cover is gonna look all year round cant wait...if you can't tell, i probably almost enjoy hanging stands as much as hunting them!

Looks really good. Are you the only one hunting it?

yes i am. the spot is on a ridge that probably is solid timber for about 15 miles. and about 400yds across. his spot isnt huge, it just runs the top of the ridge for about 300 yards, and in about 40yds...im unfamiliar with any of the neighbors, so i dont know how hard the rest gets hit, although im sure it gets hunted pretty good being such a big piece of timber and all.

we'll see how it goes. i think i might hang one more stand for a different wind.

Wow. That's gorgeous. I could build a tree house out there, and it would make a great hiding place from society.

Ya, I would hang another stand if I were you. Speaking of that I need to get out and scout for spots to hang mine....

You leave my big buck alone this year. I don't know where he is, but he is somewhere we hunt. Seeing as I will possibly put a few days in the field with my bow this fall. Any good lookers showing up yet round home BP??
