I joined both the hunting club and fishing club at the same time. My experience was on the bad side. Decent magazine, ridiculous crap sent in the mail that I did not want, then got charged for. Sent it back everytime, still tried to charge me. No longer a member. If they just sent the magazine and didn't try and force you into buying stuff, I may have stuck around. Now I stick with Fly Rod & Reel, Fly Fisherman, and American Angler.

I have been a Life Member for 10 years. All I ever test are tube jigs, spinner baits, and hooks. I think it has something to do with the fact that I will not purchase any of their high priced crap they keep wanting me to try. They are forever trying to get you to join the book club, buy a leather jacket or a ring, and lets not forget about the credit card deal.

Last year I test the hard nose tube bait 3 times and in December they sent me a spinner bait, it doesn't work too good on ice so I have to wait until ice out to try it and fill out the forms to get another product. Maybe this summer I can get more hard nose tube baits

I paid for the life time membership, but they said I never paid even though the bank statement said the check went through. Left a bitter taste in my mouth. I've been subscribed to 4 different magazines and In-Fisherman is by far the best. IMO
