It was fine, towards the afternoon it got a bit slushy with the snow, but the ice was fine. We had about 1-1.5 inches of slush ice and then about 8-10 and even in one area 11 inches or so of clear good ice...Hopefully it holds up after Monday and should be plenty good.

THICK! I believe 8-12 inches everywhere. I personally didn't see anywhere less than 10 inches.

Sounds like you all had a good time and even got some fish. I would have been too busy shootin the bull with everybody. Wish I could have made it, but I work most weekends. Maybe next time.

Let us know a weekend that you're not working and maybe some of us can come out to your neck of the woods...

I'd say about 25 or so? Steve took a bunch of pictures and even video. I forgot my camera.

I'm sure he's watching the Steelers' game.

I've sure he doesn't want to watch the Steeler's game...

BTW this: really looks like Steve!

I was there until 10;45 and met about 20 members and would assume plenty more showed up after noon.

You're probably right...I forgot folks like OBG and shakey who didn't stay to fish too.

I think most people came out, like me too just put some faces with screen names, most people I talked too weren't too concerned with the fishing. I even saw some who never put a line in the water, and some who B.S'ed for an hour before drilling a hole. I'd like to say thanks to whoever decide to have this event. It was a great idea.

Definatly great to see everyone make it out there, and put face with names, I am more excited to make it out to other events in the future.
Yeah... my "monster" crappie was caught in one of their old holes!! haha.

Sounds like everyone had a good time, wish I could have made it also. Like so many say, it would be good to match screen names to faces.

My other choice was our grand daughters 4th birthday party, so there wasn't much choice.

Japanese!!?? I thought you were Swedish, unless you spell Mako-son "s-e-n." (Then you'd be Danish.)

Dad O., if I'd known you were going to be there, I'd have hung around to meet you. Havasu get too hot for you in January?

One of these years I am going to be in town for this. Looks like a great time was had.

Just one question...did OBG have his "charm necklace" on? I figured he wears it everywhere

Should have been there, then you wouldn't be so anxious to see pictures. BTW Andrew, how did WT do for you huh?

Considering some of us need to spend some serious couch time with the wife, fiance, or GF today I would expect those to be up sometime early this week.
