Default Salt Creek fish'n (pics)

With the recent rains we herd reports of fishing being pretty hot on the creeks around Lincoln. First day we didn't know what to expect (didn't bring a camera). Landed half a dozen walleye biggest 25 inches the rest were 19-21 inches. Took a bunch of cats 4-8 pounds and a 20 inch muskie. Not bad for only an hour and a half of fishing. Went out the next morning and some more luck.

Ha. We didn't hone in on your wiper hot spot there west of 27 and Cornhusker, but I did here the brown trout fishing was outstanding.

Nice fish Zeb.... that spot in the creek there is an outstanding spot. Rosey and I have been fishing down there quite a bit over the past 5 years or more and have had great success catching walleye, wiper, musky and cats as well. Especially when heavy rains have came and went and all those fish get washed out of Wagontrain and the other Salt Valley Lakes. Great pics and keep on em!

got 2 musky, a walleye, and some 25" to 27" cats there last week one evening. Had to take a number though to fish it...that little hole is getting very popular.

Nice fish for sure. Is it just me or are you lipping that eye? Sure looks like it.
