Very nice. It's amazing to see the quality of fish still coming out of Cunningham.

Only difference between Eric and I is he fishes below the dam and I fish above it.
Crestliner, only advice I could give you is..Give em what they want. you just got to figure that part out day by day. Anyone is welcome to tag along. Can't guarantee you'll learn anything though.

Your making me hungry!

Got word today the old sea monster is ready for pickup tomorrow from the repair shop. Needed a new frount deck. Have A GPS in route as well. Hope some of those post spawners are getting hungry.

Cougarw what you say those fish your catching up north are post spawn????

Nope, they are still full of eggs, looks like they are just now starting to spawn. the small males are now just getting agressive, next week should be hot.

I have been reading up on the smallies in the mighty MO river system. Its a very over looked hot spot for SMB and some feel that EVERY lake in South Dakota in that system is currently holding a new State record Small Mouth Bass.

That should give you some further motivation on future trips

I hope to get to Fransis Case at least once this year to try my luck.

Please share some photo's of those fish you catch in the future with us southern boys

OBG if you think those gills take that fly for a ride try a 3lb plus smallie

One of my good freinds Matteo caught a 6lber below the dam. Just shy of the Nebraska and SD state record. Sweet fish. I should get some pics of the mount. They did a nice job with it. Its chasing some shad.

It's been too long since I've caught even one legal-size walleye, Coug, let alone several nice ones like yours. And as for smallies, South, catching one on my flyrod is one of my goals for 2007.

Way to go, Coug! That had to be fun.

OBG, A 2 or 3 lb smallie would be a blast on a flyrod. I can see it now, Early morning sunrise, OBG casts up to a shallow sand bar, gives a few twitches and WHAM,, A huge smallie goes airborn to hit his imitation shad. OBG screams like a little girl as he sets the hook almost haveing a heart attack. After finally getting the fish in, looks down and notices he pee'ed his pants. Ha Ha Ha. What a rush that would be, and could easily happen on the river.
