Cabelas shopping survey

I was contacted by a survey company last week to take part in a two hour shopping survey for Cabelas. They said they would pay me $70 for my time. Has anyone else received this phone call?

Actually I don't know if you should do it. Shopping surveys are a real thing and people really get paid but I would ask for some details first.

My brother used to go in places and buy alcohol just to see if they would ask him for ID. He got paid like $20-$30 for every store they sent him to...Granted it was only a couple places a week.

And when I was a kid, I worked at mcdonalds and we'd have undercover eaters in all the time... Sometimes they stuck out like a sore thumb and other times we wouldn't have a clue until we got the survey results a week later.

I have received a letter from Cabela's and then got a phone call. So, I signed up for Feb 17th. Never been in a focus group before. I know what they do, but haven't participated.

Man, wish they would call me to do this. They wouldn't even need to pay me and I would give them something to FOCUS on!!!!!

Cabela's has turned into a DIVE if you ask me and my days of buying any big items from them are OVER!!!!!!!!

That's why I said ask for some details but it looks like I was confused on what this was. I thought they wanted you to shop not sit in a meeting.

I was contacted by Cabelas to be in this focus groups as well. After asking me some preliminary questions, they told me that I fell into one of their groups that had already been filled. So basically, I was out of luck.
