A couple inches of snow on top of slush. Ice is still 16"+.
Got to the lake at daylight, set out tip ups and had a flag before I got settled in. Got one 23 inch northern and then jigged up several bluegills. I had this northern hit a minnow awhile later. Not a monster but it made my day on rod & reel! Much more fun than dragging them in on tip ups!

Nice catch Whisker... I was gonna go to Maskenthine yesterday morning but I about poked my diesel in the ditch picking up my fishing buddy... There were super slick roads... We ended up staying local...
